The Tender Mercies of the Wicked
Tim at bLogicus has a sad post about infant euthanasia in the Netherlands. What is most disturbing, perhaps, is the rationalization that is employed to justify it. See Killing Babies, Compassionately.
Tim is a leader in pro-life issues in the blogosphere. Not only does he write for life on his personal blog, bLogicus, he also manages Pro-Life Blogs and BlogsforTerri.com, both of which are reliable and constantly updated sources of news and information.
Abdul Rahman
It looks like charges against Abdul Rahman have been dropped. However, there are apparently lynch mobs ready to execute a death sentence anyway. He has requested asylum. I am grateful that so many people contacted the Embassy of Afghanistan and President Bush that the Afghan courts were persuaded not to prosecute this case. However Rahman is not yet safe, and Afghanistan's law against conversion from Islam still stands. Let's continue to pray for our brother's safety, and for the opening of Islamic lands to religious freedom and the Gospel. Remember, God promises to call His people from every tribe and nation.
